Abstract
Previous calculations of the bound state of H in an intense linearly polarized laser field in the high-intensity limit are used to investigate similar bound states of ${\mathrm{H}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$, He, and Li. The first two are bound in states that are simple generalizations of the one-electron results. Li is also bound, but in a different configuration.
