Abstract
A description is given of the development and application of a flexible 15-camp grazing system on a sourveld farm in East Griqualand. A high stocking density is considered fundamental in achieving good herbage utilisation and high level of production per animal and per ha. The importance of not starting grazing too early in the season is stressed.
