Abstract
The use of prospect in regional planning is currently justified by the need of the long-term in the estimate of the scope of implemented policies. But the sudden interest for regional prospect has known little by little, fluctuations, particularly active during prosperity periods. Despite its limits, with its symbolic patterns and works, prospect keeps on today, playing a decisive role in regional planning, as a factor of political mobilization.
