Abstract
Miles son las imágenes de autores realizadas entre la Edad Media y el Siglo de Oro. Este trabajo pretende analizar una selección de ellas, procedentes de varios soportes (impreso, manuscrito, etc.) y de variadas técnicas (miniatura, grabado, óleo sobre lienzo), desde una perspectiva centrada en la representación de la inspiración del autor en el momento de la escritura, para determinar la existencia de modelos icónicos y ver cómo evolucionaron.
