Abstract

This study aims to create a dairy cow reproductive recording model by optimizing android use by farmers. The making of a dairy cow reproductive data recording model is based on an analysis of the needs of farmers. The data collection method was carried outby survey by extracting primary data using questionnaires and observation and secondary data based on recording supporting data. The data requirements obtained are then implemented in software programming using MySQL, PHP, web and Android Studio version 3.1 programming languages for windows. The software design uses the Sommerville version of the Waterfall Method (2011) with stages; data requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification and testing, installation and maintenance. The system's design is called Rekording Sapi Elektronik (REKS-EL) version 1.2 with a minimum of 1 or 2 GB android RAM, specifically Jellybean version 4.1 and above, while storage space capacity is above 5 MB. The tools designed are Farmer Profile, Livestock Identity, Performance, Reproduction and Marriage and Health of dairy cows, so user usage is more applicable. The software has been tested on the user in its implementation in the field. It will continue with the development (development) to keep it updated according to the needs of farmers.
