Abstract

In this article the original, absent in the theory of mass service, conceptual model of functioning of the distributed system of processing of information of the enterprise on the basis of a local computer network of three-level architecture "client-server" is received. The mathematical model of network state`s steady-state probabilities definition is designed for this conceptual model using an apparatus of closed exponential queuing networks. For the operating mode of the distributed system, taking into account the influence of locks, modified ratios are given for calculating the service intensities in the network nodes. Using a previously developed heuristic algorithm, the problem of optimal placement of information resources is solved on computer network nodes on the criterion of minimum average response time of the system to user requests. The results of numerical experiments are presented, the analysis of which allows to organize more rationally the computational process in the system to ensure the required parameters of her reactivity.
