Abstract

The article discusses the features of the migration policy of the Russian Federation. It has been established that migration policy in the administrative aspect represents an integral system of political, legal, social, economic and ideological measures to regulate migration processes, which are regulated by the norms of administrative and administrative procedural legislation. Attention is paid to the problems of the mechanism for regulating migration processes in the realities of the modern Russian Federation. The need to implement state migration and legal policy has been established, taking into account modern trends characteristic of the main directions of Russia’s activities in the migration sphere. Emphasis is placed on the need to develop the Migration Code of the Russian Federation, systematize migration legislation and its codification.
