Research Article| April 01 2017 Mighty Son of Poland: Stanislaus Zbyszko, Polish Americans, and Sport in the Twentieth Century Neal Pease Neal Pease Neal Pease is Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is the author of Rome’s Most Faithful Daughter: The Catholic Church and Independent Poland, 1914–1939 (Ohio University Press, 2009), and many articles on the history of sport and ethnicity. He is Editor-in-Chief of The Polish Review, and past president of the Polish American Historical Association.
