Abstract
The article presented describes the process of rapid multiplication of healthy grapevine clones, implemented within IȘPHTA. The process involves several key stages: initiating the growth of young shoots from mother plants, isolating and cultivating apical parts in an in vitro environment, using the artificial substrate Biona 311 for micropropagation, and acclimatizing the regenerated plants to in vivo conditions, followed by their cultivation and maturation in a greenhouse. The multiplication cycle is completed with the transfer of vegetative vines to the mother plantation Prebaza. To manage this process efficiently, a culture complex was developed at IȘPHTA, structured into several interconnected rooms. The use of in vitro techniques within this complex has enabled the rapid production of the necessary volume of healthy plants, crucial for the initiation and swift expansion of mother plantations. The Prebaza plantation has thus been expanded to an area of 3.05 ha, and the results have subsequently facilitated the establishment of a new mother plantation of the biological category Baza, on an area of 12 ha.
