Abstract
RESUMO A tradução brasileira (2015) do Prefácio de Patrick Sériot para a tradução francesa (2010) de Marxismo e filosofia da linguagem proporciona uma boa oportunidade para discutir a obra e sua relevância no campo das Ciências Humanas, considerando distintas interpretações possíveis. Nesse sentido, este trabalho apresenta uma discussão sobre questões que, a nosso ver, merecem ser abordadas, tanto do trabalho de Sériot (tomado como exemplo de interpretação de MFL) como da obra de Voloshinov.
