Abstract
The research developed aimed to: Identify the relationship that exists between active methodology and the academic performance of higher education students at technological institutes in Peru. Methods: It is an applied study, at a correlational descriptive level, worked with a sample of 100 students and 10 teachers from the technological institute, 2 questionnaires of 20 questions each, previously validated, were used as instruments. For the normality test, Kolmogorov-Smimov was applied, which indicated that the population has a non-normal distribution, so non-parametric tests such as Spearman's Rho were used. Results: 60% of those surveyed stated that the active methodology is of a regular level, 65% of those surveyed stated that the academic performance of the students is in process Conclusion: it was concluded that there is a positive relationship between high reliability between both variables, with a correlation of 0.845 between the active methodology and academic performance.
