Abstract
A method was developed for suspension copolymerization of butadiene ester of hydroquinone and acrylonitrile in the presence of a stabilizer — a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and sodium salt of methacrylic acid for the concentration of a crosslinking agent of 10, 20 mole %. It was found possible to form macro-porous copolymers by suspension copolymerization of butadiene ester of hydroquinone and acrylonitrile in the presence of isoamyl alcohol and nonane. Copolymers, which are characterized by high latent porosity, were obtained in the presence of dimethyl formamide, dichlorethane and chloroform.
