Abstract

Geodynamic risks were studied during the development of coal deposits in the Russian Federation at the end of the last century, due to the difficulties in implementing green energy. The main directions of their development are established, their sectorial focus is noted, and a new methodological approach is proposed. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to develop a methodology for assessing the risk of geodynamic hazard of the earth’s crust block state in the areas of coal deposits’ development in the Russian Federation in order to ensure safety, which is a complex scientific task. The proposed risk assessment methodology includes an integrated approach taking into account geodynamic zoning, monitoring and industrial safety. The proposed risk assessment methodology includes a systematic approach, taking into account geodynamic zoning, monitoring and industrial safety. The practical use of the implementation of the proposed methodology is to expand the use of digital technologies for collecting information, as well as to gain new knowledge about the impact of geodynamic processes on safety and sustainable development of territories
