Abstract

The article deals with the problem of the formation of the professional competence of teachers through the organization and conduct of practice-oriented methodological seminars that affect the development of one or another professional competence declared by the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards for a modern teacher. The article presents the author’s vision of the definitions of “competence” and “competency”, as well as describes some methodological techniques that affect the effectiveness of the lesson in terms of individualization of the learning process. The article presents the experience of conducting methodological seminars in School № 1570 of Moscow. The proposed topic of practiceoriented methodological seminars can be used to disseminate pedagogical experience.
