Abstract

Purpose: Currently, the issues of creating and using multi-tiered space systems for their intended purpose, in which various methods of fixing observation objects (OO) are implemented, are becoming particularly relevant. The article offers a methodological approach to predicting the results of the joint use of spacecraft (spacecraft) of such systems. Materials and methods. The article proposes an original approach based on the use of methods and models of the theory of the effectiveness of the use of space systems (SS) to predict the results of the use of a multi-tiered space observation system (MSOS). Results. In order to solve the tasks set, the authors of the article have improved the scenario-time and difference-range methods for evaluating the effectiveness of space systems. The article shows how, by implementing these improved methods in simulation models of the functioning of the MSOS, it is possible to create a combined method and methodology for predicting the results. Conclusions. The proposed methodological approach has great prospects, since it is based on the fundamental and applied results obtained so far in the theory and practice of using space observation systems (SOS), integrates the knowledge gained in the field of evaluating the effectiveness (predicting results) of using space systems, whose spacecraft use various methods of fixing observation objects.
