Abstract

The article suggests a methodology of historical research of preschool education. The analysis of theoretical and methodical provisions for the education of preschool children. Discusses the importance of the achievements of the Soviet system of preschool upbringing and education. Shows the principles, directions, methods and conditions for their implementation when working with children of preschool age. Discusses the state of childhood in modern Russia, problems of development of preschool children and their causes. Given the number of subjective and objective factors on the issue of child protection. Considers the orientation of the system of preschool education in preparation for school. Is determined by the percentage of preschool children in preparation for school. Analyzed the successes and shortcomings of the Soviet system of preschool education, the limits of their use in modern conditions. It is shown that the use of the method of historical-comparative analysis together with the concept of periodization, helps to ensure all the principles of historical science and to predict areas of preschool education in Russia. Discusses the contradictions of the present stage of development of preschool system form of further education, the ways of their solution in the Soviet Union. It is shown that many of the problems that are expected to allow innovative, have already been successfully resolved by the Soviet system of education.
