Abstract
The subject of this paper is a way of conceptualizing God in the Serbian language. The aim of the paper is to show and indicate the ways in which the meaning of the noun God is understood in the Serbian language, and which metaphors arise when it is described. It is shown which metaphorical expressions are and by which source domains the concretization occurs. The theoretical basis of the conducted research is the theory of conceptual metaphors, which is based on the cognitive-semantic approach. First, a theoretical review of conceptual metaphors is given, followed by an analysis of a corpus based on examples from literary works, daily newspapers, and dialect texts from the Kragujevac Lepenica area.

У оквиру овог дела рада биће речи о семантичкој и концептуалној анализи ексцерпираних примера у оквиру којих срећемо компоненту БОГ. Један од начина концептуализације апстрактног појма као што је лексема БОГ јесте путем живих бића где се свакако као доминантан изворни домен издваја човек. („богат човек, онај који има велику моћ; поставља се као вођа народа у касаби“) (в) Сад сам ја за вас бог и батина. Концептуалне метафоре у оквиру којих се препознаје бог као вођа представљају они примери у оквиру којих се разумева одређена личност која се по нечему издваја од друштва или скупине којој припада. Како се примери појмовних метафора често посматрају и кроз културолошку призму, призму традиције, у духу српског народа је да често, у ситуацијама у којима нам је неко близак болестан, позивање Бога у помоћ и тражење лека од њега, као последњој нади (ђ), (е), (ж), а чак и лекари који спасу живот блиској особи поистовећују се са Богом (з). (а) Чита ти њени богови. („жена која чита књиге из своје научне области.“) (б) Онај поп доле у цркву, отворио разни богови и пева. („теолошка литература која се користи у служби, литургији.“)
