Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of clinical nursing pathway in patients with hand-food-mouth disease associated with viral encephalitis. Methods According to the predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, the databases of CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, The Cochrane Library, PubMed and EBSCO database were retrieved by computer and by hand.Meta analysis was performed on the inclusion criteria by RevMan5.3 software provided by Cochrance Collaboration network.For single variable count data with the odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI). If result were consistent, the fixed effects model would be used, on the contrary, the random effects model would be selected. Results According to the strict inclusion and exclusion criteria were included 5 studies, 416 patients were enrolled.There were 208 cases of routine nursing group and 208 clinical nursing path group.The results showed that: the clinical nursing pathway was applied in the patients with hand-foot-and -mouth disease and the patients with viral encephalitis, compared with the conventional nursing group, the hospital time was shortened〔WMD=-3.52, 95%CI=(-4.29, -2.76), P<0.000 1〕, the nursing quality was improved〔WMD=1.13, 95%CI=(0.6, 1.65), P<0.000 1〕, and the nurses' satisfaction was improved〔OR=6.19, 95%CI=(2.05, 18.67), P=0.001〕. Conclusion The application of clinical nursing pathway in patients with hand-food-mouth disease associated with viral encephalitis can significantly reduce the hospital stay, improve the quality of nursing and the satisfaction of nurses.It has a good clinical effect.
