Abstract

To explore the effect of clinical nursing pathway applied on patients with breastcancer surgery. Methods Searched the CNK, IVIP, Wan fang database and CBM, collected controlled clinical trials about clinical nursing pathway applied on patients with breast cancer surgery. Then, the summary data was analyzed by RevMan 5.2 software. Results Totals of 10 controlled clinical trials were incorporated, including 904 patients with breast cancer surgery, clinical nursing pathway group had 453 patients, and control group had 451 patients. Meta-analysis showed that compared with control group, the hospital stay of clinical nursing pathway group was shorter, average cost was less and the satisfaction was higher, and the difference between the two groups had significant differences ( P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusions Applying clinical nursing pathway in patients with breast cancer surgery can shorten the average hospital stay, reduce the hospital cost and improve the satisfaction of patients. However, randomized double-blind controlled studies with large samples are needed to further confirm the conclusion. Key words: Breast cancer; Surgery; Clinical nursing pathway; Meta analysis
