Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve motor skills in group B students of RA Nurul Huda by using the playing method, through the traditional game of engklek  . This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were group B RA Nurul Huda which collected 10 students. Sources of data come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques are by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data using the triangulation technique method. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis. The results of the Classroom Action Research Improving the Traditional Engklek Game through Gross Motoric Early Childhood at RA Nurul Huda Curug Tangerang showed a significant increase in motor skills, namely in the first period to be precise in March 2022 the average value was 67.7, while in the first period, the average value was 67.7. second to be exact in June 2022 the average score is 82. An increase of 21%.
