Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve motor skills in group B students of PAUDQu Al-Makki Dzikri by using the playing method, through the game of throwing and catching a dice. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were group B PAUDQU Al-Makki Dzikri which collected 17 students. Sources of data come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques are by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data using the triangulation technique method. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the use of the play method could improve children's motor skills from pre-cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II which was carried out well and effectively, this was seen from changes in aspects of motor skills in throwing and throwing more than before. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the play method can improve the motor skills of group B PAUDQu Al-Makki Dzikri.
