Abstract

This article analyses Mapurbe. Venganza a raíz, written by urban Mapuche poet David Aniñir Guilitraro. The article proposes a reading of Aniñir’s text as a poetic of memory and a written inscription of difference in the context of Chilean society, and more specifically that of Santiago. Taking into account the volume’s particular context of production, the analysis draws connections between the poems and contemporary Mapuche discursivity, elaborated by individuals and organizations of the Mapuche movement
