Abstract

(Abstracted from Gynecol Oncol 2019;155:93–97) Medicaid provides health insurance for Americans earning less than 133% of the federal poverty limit, amounting to approximately $35,000 for a family of 4, and covering approximately 1 in 5 Americans. Medicaid participants may have decreased access to care despite having insurance, as providers are less likely to accept Medicaid compared with private insurance.
