Abstract
X-ray intensity ratios as a function of projectile energy, E/M and projectile atomic number, , have been measured for , and ions on Yb. The energy ranges for the incident ions H, Be, C, and F were 0.5 - 3.0 , and 0.5 - 2.6 for N, and Si ions. Comparison of the experimental ratios has been made to the theoretical ratios calculated via PWBA and ECPSSR. The trend in the ratio as functions of projectile energy and atomic number dependence exhibits a strong disagreement between the experimental and theoretical ratios.
