Abstract

Destinations may become a brand, given that they are touristic products. So as to turn out the destinations easier to market, studies of destination personality that distinguish destinations from others and bring their characteristics into the foreground are being carried out. Destination personality is evaluated as a way of describing the destinations with human beings and making them into a concrete personality. The personality traits of the destination enable efficient and rational use of scarce resources. In this research, a survey was applied to local and foreign visitors to determine the destination personality of Cunda Island within the boundaries of Ayvalik district of Balikesir.
