Abstract
To recognize the place where we live through mapping methodologies as a tool to promote refl ection about concepts and build new knowledge and values can contribute to transform practices, well as to develop new skills aimed at confl ict management through processes of co-learning and participation in solving/decision-making problems. The socio environmental mapping is a socio educational teaching tool for diagnosis, planning and action that promotes the participation of different social actors in search better quality of life and promotion of environmental education.
