Abstract
Tests under plant conditions have confirmed the principle established by previous research at the Eastern Institute of Refractories regarding the dominating influence in improving the slag resistance of aluminosilicate refractories of an increased amount of alumina in the charge together with a simultaneous increase in density. The possibility of introducing the new procedure in industry has been confirmed.
