Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang masih banyaknya anggapan sebagian masyarakat yang memandang bahwa alumni pesantren hanya bisa mengaji dan salat tapi tidak berpendidikan formal. Ini mendorong pesantren untuk membuktikan bahwa lulusan pesantren bisa menjadi generasi penerus bangsa yang IMTAQ dan IMTEK-nya setara bahkan bisa lebih dari yang lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan peneliti menggunakan analisis teori Miles dan Huberman, sedang untuk menguji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum pesantren dalam pembentukkan kompetensi santri di SMA Azzainiyyah Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, terdiri dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan kurikulum pesantren di SMA Azzainiyyah ialah sesuai perumusan awal pendiri Pondok Pesantren Azzainiyyah. Pengorganisasian dan pelaksanaan kurikulum di SMA Azzainiyyah terbagi dua, yakni kurikulum formal dan kurikulum kepesantrenan. Kurikulum kepesantrenannya terdiri dari kegiatan ubudiah, tahfiz, pengajian kitab, ekstrakurikuler, dan organisasi pesantren. Evaluasi kurikulum yang ada di SMA Azzainiyyah diadakan rutin 2 minggu sekali dalam rapat internal Unit SMA, dan satu bulan sekali dengan seluruh unit yang ada di Pondok Pesantren Azzainiyyah. The background of this research is that there are still many assumptions by some people who view that pesantren alumni can only recite the Koran and pray but have no formal education. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used by researchers used the theoretical analysis of Miles and Huberman, and to test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that the management of the Islamic Boarding School curriculum in forming the competence of santri at SMA Azzainiyyah Sukabumi, West Java, consists of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The planning of the Islamic Boarding School curriculum at SMA Azzainiyyah is by the initial formulation of the founder of the Azzainiyyah Islamic Boarding School. The organization and implementation of the curriculum at SMA Azzainiyyah are divided into two, namely the formal curriculum and the Islamic boarding school curriculum. The Islamic Boarding School curriculum consists of ‘ub?diyya activities, ta?f??, book study, extracurriculars, and Islamic Boarding School organizations. Evaluation of the curriculum at SMA Azzainiyyah is held routinely once every 2 weeks at the SMA unit internal meeting, and once a month with all units at the Azzainiyyah Islamic Boarding School.
