Abstract

(Abstracted from J Minim Invasive Gynecol 2022;29:602–612) Endometriosis is one of the most common gynecologic disorders, affecting approximately 10% of reproductive-age women and presenting with dysmenorrhea, noncyclic pelvic pain, dyspareunia, and infertility. Approximately 17% to 55% of women with endometriosis will also develop an endometrioma, which is usually an advanced disease stage of endometriosis.
