Abstract

A compact CMOS low-voltage analog four quadrant transconductance amplifier based on flipped voltage followers and transistors operating in triode mode is introduced and experimentally verified. The circuit has a feedforward architecture and features high bandwidth, low distortion, and operates with a single supply voltage of 1.5 V in a 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS technology. Extension of the proposed circuit into a generalized multiplier with n input pairs is discussed. Simulations and experimental results are shown that verify the characteristics of the proposed multiplier.
