Abstract

A novel class-AB architecture for two-stage operational amplifiers is presented. A set of level-shifters are utilised to generate continuous and stable class-AB behaviour in both the first and the second stage, which enhances the effective values of the slew rates and transcondutances in both stages and thus opamp speed with extraordinary low power.
