Abstract

Kα X-ray low energy satellite spectra of chlorine generated by photon excitation with sodium chloride as target was studied using the Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometer (Philips 2404) employing LiF 220 cystal. The measured energies and energy shifts of these X-ray satellites are compared with theoretical values available and ascribed appropriate transitions.
