Abstract

This paper deals with the controversies and discussions that many important authors, particularly in France and Germany, have had concerning the question on existence in relation to the extermination of Jews during the National Socialism regime in Germany. The paper discusses and analyzes the possibility of representing what many authors consider to be unrepresentable, focusing on a deep reflecion about images and testimonies in so far as they seem to make possible the impossible, i.e., representing what seems to be unrepresentable.
