Abstract

The reasons of creation, historical and social activities in Chernihiv regional branch in the 80s – beginning of the 90-s of the XX century and the contribution of Chernihiv regional historical society in development of local history of the region are analyzed. Development of regional researches was contradictory in the conditions of crisis of the soviet system and it imposed a substantial imprint on character and orientation of regional searches

Introduction

The reasons of creation, historical and social activities in Chernihiv regional branch in the 80-s – beginning of the 90-s of the XX century. and the contribution of Chernihiv regionregional historical society building in case studies of local history of the region. Метою статті є аналіз та систематизація інформації щодо внеску Чернігівського обласного історико-краєзнавчого товариства у справу відродження краєзнавства в Україні наприкінці 80-х рр. Але вивчення наукової літератури дає підстави стверджувати, що окреслена проблема досі не була предметом спеціального дослідження, хоча на прикладі Чернігівщини можна з‘ясувати практично усі аспекти розвитку громадського напрямку історичного краєзнавства в Україні протягом 80-х – 90-х рр.
