Abstract

The main aim of this article is the study of the notion of time in the verbal utterance in Amazigh Tashelhit (AT), one of the three variants of the Amazigh language in Morocco. Our study aims to examine certain aspects relating to the expression of temporality in the verbal presentations of Amazigh people. Note that the theoretical framework underlying our analysis is the Minimalist Generative Grammar Program. The central problem to which this work attempts to provide some answers is that of identifying the mechanisms that the Amazigh language implements to express time in the verbal sentence.
