The requirement of a holistic and systemic presentation of linguocultural units in their correlation and interaction at a deep semantic level, based on systemic and integrative approaches to the lingual and cultural phenomena, has become the determining factor of the impetuous development of linguo-culturology as a complex synthesizing discipline, through the prism of which all language phenomena should be considered. The study analyses the structure and semantics of language units from the standpoint of cultural and historical specificity of their development. We discuss the complex issues of extralinguistic information transfer by means of language, which can be solved with the help of comparative linguoculturological procedures. The article reveals the basic problems in transmitting the extralinguistic components from one language to another and the ways to solve them without damaging the integrity of linguistic material. The research emphasizes and describes the main features of the transmission of cultural characteristics of words, phrases, sentences, idiomatic and paremiological funds to avoid false equivalence and miscommunication, unacceptable in the context of the current tense geopolitical situation in the world.
