Abstract

Summary. On the South-western coast of Sardinia, near Piscinas (Arbus), a fair number of objects have been discovered and retrieved : anchor lead arms, plummet leads, ingots of lead and copper. They may come from a wreck of the first century A.D. The lead ingots are stamped on the back and two of them bear on the side letters and marks. Moreover the numerous anchor lead arms present characteristics so different that they cannot be all attributed to the same ship.
