Abstract: The introduction provides a contextual frame for this issue, underlining the moment in 1992 when Linda Lê claimed to have found her voice, captured in the provocative cover of Les évangiles du crime . A brief biography leads to the summaries of the eleven articles, from renowned Lê scholars as well as new voices.
