Abstract

Abstract: The introduction provides a contextual frame for this issue, underlining the moment in 1992 when Linda Lê claimed to have found her voice, captured in the provocative cover of Les évangiles du crime . A brief biography leads to the summaries of the eleven articles, from renowned Lê scholars as well as new voices. Their contributions resonate with previous work (such as exile and intertextuality), while tracing new lines of study (such as translation, animality, beyond nation). An afterward and acknowledgements follow, including an expression of gratitude for the rich legacy that Linda Lê has left us.
