Abstract
The formation mechanism and evolution trend of different failure modes on-site operation electric energy meter are different. This paper presents a life prediction method of electric energy meter based on multiple failure Weibull distribution model. The Weibull distribution model of the failure rate of each failure mode is established by using the historical failure data of the electric energy meter. According to goodness of fit, we can optimize the prediction results of some failure modes and accumulate the stage failure rates of all failure modes, then the expected life of the overall electric energy meter can be obtained. Through the verification of the actual electric energy meter fault data on site, it shows that this method can effectively predict the service life of electric energy meters, find potential faults in advance, and provide technical support for the status replacement and hidden danger investigation of batch electric energy meters.
