Abstract

Based on an ideological restricted national point of view, the numerous studies on the reception of Nietzsche have not answered the question of the quantity and the rapidity of the French translations of his works. The aim of this article is to try to solve this old but still acute problem in comparing their publication with the German editions and with the translations in other european languages from 1892 till 1910.
