Abstract

The article examines the essence of legal culture. Its constituent elements are reviewed and analyzed. Issues related to its formation and development are considered in detail. Legal education and self-education are key elements in the developmentof an employee both at a departmental university and after graduating from other educational institutions. The problems of legal education and training of police offi cers, as systemic and dynamic processes, are also touched upon. Particular attention is paid to the legal thinking and consciousness of the employee, as well as issues of legal epistemology.
