Abstract

The article reveals the theoretical issues and the procedure for allocating land for the construction of public roads.
 The road system is an integral part of the national unified transport system. Over the years, the composition of the traffic flow has changed, the road network has expanded and planning has improved. Also, the networks of international and domestic transport corridors were expanded and the road infrastructure was modernized.
 Solving the problems of the road complex development of Ukraine requires significant streamlining on the basis of modern innovations. It is determined that the economic, social and environmental components are the basis of the Transport Strategy of Ukraine for the period up to 2030. Positive results cannot be achieved without taking into account the national characteristics of the entire industry management system. Therefore, to ensure the integrity of the system in the industry, it is necessary to have in-depth analysis of key aspects of traffic characteristics.
 The complexity of the legal regulation of land relations in the field of road transport determines the urgency of solving the problem of rational land use, and its legal framework requires further study and implementation in economic activities.
