Abstract

In the Transylvanian depression, the front of the cuesta and the slopes of the valleys dug on the back are cut with a succession of niches that was generated by landslides. The retreat of the main scarp of the landslides contribute to the dissection of the interfluves. The profile of the slopes so shaped present a diversity of forms in function of the nature of the rocks.
