Abstract
High quality laser diffraction patterns are obtained from optically flat and plane parallel c-cut samples of KDP in the ferroelectric phase. Sample thickness t dependence of domain width D was measured between t=0.7 mm and 4.6 mm, which agrees very well with theory D∝√t. Very interesting polarization characteristics of diffraction beams may have some applications.
