Abstract

The dependence of the domain width D on the thickness L of a polycrystalline sample of barium ferrite having a constant grain size (about 45 μm) was investigated in the thickness range from 30 μm to 10 4 μm. It has been found that for L > 500 μm the domain width does not depend on the thickness of the sample, whereas for L < 500 μm this dependence is described by the equation D = 1.53 L 0.32
