Abstract
The author of this essay goes back over the academic atmosphere in the Thirties and Forties of the last century in Argentina and provides a picture of the Argentinian culture in those years, during which Renato Treves worked. The author will then describe the intellectual legacy that the Italian sociologist and philosopher has left in his land of exile, due also to the publication of the essay Introduccion a las investigaciones sociales.
