Abstract
Purpose: to identify artistic and aesthetic role of linguistic nuances and stylistic techniques, the specifics of the individual style of the Russian-speaking writer E. Kapiev as well establish his linguistic competence with regard to different socio-historical conditions. Subject of research is the works by E. Kapiev, including his work ‘The Poet’. The scientific novelty: analysis of linguistic and stylistic peculiarities of ’The Poet’ by book E. Kapiev “ is carried out, aimed at identifying stylistic resources, being characteristic of the Laks’ prose in the Russian language. Methodology: analysis of the linguistic material selected from the writer’s works; comparison of certain syntactic constructions with their analogues in the Laks language; identification of typological similarities and the individual characteristics of the author’s prose and poetry; analysis of literature concerning the language and style of the work. Results: the teaching about the functional features of the Russian language in a foreign language environment is supplemented with provisions on language means at different levels, which contribute to forming the specificity of the Russian-language literature by national writers. The results of this research may be useful in the teaching of modern Russian language stylistics; applied in the teaching of specialized courses and seminars on national-Russian bilingualism.
