Abstract
The oxidation of aromatic amines was carried out in the presence of lacunary Keggin-type heteropolyanion with mixed tungsten and molybdenum addenda atoms. In the presence of this heteropolyanion, the nitro compounds were obtained in excellent yields under mild reaction conditions.
