Abstract
Nel 2023 è uscita la biografia di Matteo Bisaccia, importante manager lucano scomparso dieci anni prima. Il volume è stato da me scritto dopo circa un anno di ricerca sul campo. Si tratta di un prodotto di public history, per via dell’importante coinvolgimento della comunità locale, che ha inteso raccontare in maniera rigorosa e documentata una vita molto densa di vicende e di esperienze. In questa sede si vuole illustrare la metodologia, per certi versi innovativa, utilizzata in tale ricerca, nell’intento di condividere una riflessione sui pregi e sui limiti di tale approccio.
