Abstract

F.G. Junger’s ecological study, Die Perfektion der Technik, documents some of the horrific moments in the globalization of industry. He provides a vivid description of the worker’s dependence on productivity-improving technical advances. Technical genius can be harmful to human life. Junger also writes about our relationship with nature, redefining what could be a good way of life. Throughout the book, he asks important questions about the consequences of capitulating to a wholly materialistic culture.
